Huling

As a dancer, choreographer, teacher and artist, I create space to explore movement and mindfulness. Using a psychological background and focus on social justice, my aim is to bridge the gaps in our dance community, and to make dance accessible to all.

Take My Word For It
at Journey Dance Awards NYC
Journey Dance Awards, created by Jesse Kohn, showcases the work of emerging choreographers based in NYC. As a finalist, Alanna had 2 months to create and rehearse a piece for the showcase, and received feedback from Gina Menichino, DeShawn DePrince, and Theresa Stone. The performance took place at SoHo Playhouse on August 6th, 2023. Danced to Taylor Swift's "Dear Reader", this piece touches on how lessons learned in life, however painful, are necessary to move forward.
